What is this GAMELOFT? Why does the interface feel like its for IPAD/IPHONE? At least you guys should have refined the interface for keyboard and mouse. The graphics look dated. The sound effects are muddy. Naive character animations. Not enough shortcuts. What else? I honestly cant find a single thing thats positive. Even $10 feels expensive. Polish the game!

I liked the game on iPhone and wanted to try it on mac… I did not expect this… First of all, the feeling is far from what someone would expect on a computer. Map scrolling needs adjustments, two button controls maybe? In general: make it more computer compatible. Also, I was very disapointed to see that I cannot play with people who have the game on iPod, iphone, or iPad… This leaves me to play alone since few people have the game and play online themselves… Also, since the fun in such a game is to play online… I dont play at all… 10$ well spent? not so sure. However, this game has the potential of being quite interesting if: 1- Controlls get adjusted for mac 2- There should be a mode where IOS versions of the game can play with MAC version.

Ive been searching the whole day for a game like this. It is a must buy, and I loved it for the price. Im not sure what others mean by the interface, I thought it was quite fine acually. The map scrolling for me was perfectly fine, just inch towards the edges and the map moves. It was fun, and still a hard challenge. Worth your money.

The graphics in this game are so much better than the iPad and iPhone version. Plus, it is much easier to play this game on a computer than on the iPhone and iPad. Not that I dont like the iPad and iPhone versions, but I feel this version beats the mobile versions. Now, if only Gameloft can release Order & Chaos, Star Battalion, and a couple of their other games onto the Mac, that would be awesome!

If you like this genre, this is a great one! i first had it on my iPhone, then when i got an iPad i got that version and today i saw this one. every time the screen gets bigger it looks better. controls are nice, especially hot keys. Been playing for hours and the game did stutter briefly during one intense situation but barely even worth mentioning. And keeping these great iOS apps affordable for OSX is great too.

Having played some of the early editions of Command and Conquer, this game isnt even close. The instructions are really weak...it takes awhile just to figure out how to play. Im sorry I spent the money on this one. I would have to guess that the two previous commenters before me, who rated this as 5 starts, most likely are affiliated with the gamemaker somehow.

Id say, if you like StarCraft 1 or 2, youll like this game. The controls are a bit simpler in the sense that theres no right-clicking, so you dont have as many options which isnt a huge problem. There are about a third of the possible units/upgrades, but the experience is just as great as StarCraft. So all-in-all: its half the StarCraft at a fifth the price.

While the concept behind this game is interesting and has great optential in the story line, the game play its self is very limited and simply disappointing. The graphics are very good for a $10 RTS game and at first i was impressed, but as i began to play the campaign i noticed more than one bug that made it frustrating and altogether halted the missions to the point i could not go on. The gamplay lacks in general but the most obvious failure was to not include an attack to location command forcing you to click on individual enemies you encounter which is further complicated by their small, almost invisible size. I hope these bugs are addressed in an update soon because i would love to continue playing and play the rest of the story.

This game definatly got its inspiration from starcraft no doubt but thats not a bad thing. If you like starcraft but dont want to blow 60$ then buy this cause 50$ less is a hell of a lot better. Good campaign and im glad you can pick a server to play on so you can find your friends unlike in modern combat. that alone makes the multiplayer better. get this game!

I like this game but I also found it limiting. How do u delete some of your troops in mid game? because when i fill up my pop limit and they tell me to get a certain troop i have to find an enemy and make him kill me before i can make that thing they want in campaign mode. I felt like there could be more options in this game but thats not a big problem, and like "Jim Wiley" I think an "attack to location" or a general attack everything or "fire at will" button would be nice. It gets annoying when you get attacked and youre troops arnt really fighting until you click on that tiny barely-seeable monster. So in a summary: If you can delete troops, add more in-game options, and make a "fire at will" attack button this game would be sooo much better! But overall its a good game and WELL WORTH its money so I would still get it! Graphics are really good for a mac game, Its a good game to play, and this game goes str8 to the point! 4/5

Fun game but has a glitch as numbers of units and span of terrain expands. I have a 3.2G Intel i3 IMac (16M ram) and as number of units progress at each level screen goes black and then to the resume/save screen. Sometimes this occurs every couple seconds 4-5 times in a row. Overall fun game somewhat in the genre of Total Annihilation but without the complexity or intriguing story line.

First of all I hope that they make it so that you can click on somethin larger than just the individual creatures that are small. Second of all I think that the voices should be played through the whole thing because for me it would only play sometimes. Third I think that the graphics could be a little better but they are great right now. Last but no least I hope there is a new race to play. Well thats all I have to say right now.

Needs AI players in multiplayer battles. A friend and I would really like to be on a team together but when we do multiplayer there isnt an option to add AI. When three of us get together we cant to teams because it would be two against one. Splash damage is nice but way too powerful when you get a group of 10 jellyfish dudes together. They can take out just about the entire board! Looking forward to new maps. The missions are cool but multiplayer is much more fun. Please develope new maps. Needs option to start out with more resources. And once original game resources are depleated there isnt a way to get more. What about adding falling metiorites as a way to replenish resources?

If you enjoy games like Command/Conquer, Starcarft then you will find this one a no brainer. Espeically at the price. Game play is straight forward if you play RTS before; there are some minor differences but is not impossible to figure out. There is only one bug I have found. If you use the corners of you mac screen for mission control (Lion) or Expose in Snow Leopard, then they will pause your game here. Very very very annoying but so far hasnt cost me a mission.

this is very similar to starcraft but it is 3D and little bit easy. It has some diffrence between iPhone, iPod touch and iPad version. the grafics is much better, and population is upto 60. i like this game and i think its worth 10$.

I do have a ticket in with tech support but no news yet. The app starts up and my LCD tells me that the "signal is out of range." The only app to do this so far.. more testing please.. This is on a Mac Pro (7Gb) with a NVidia 8800 GT 512Mb..

This game is not as stable or fun as starcraft nomater how you slice it. Games and their occasional glitches usually dont bother me, but non responsive mouse clicks and units that are difficult to select in an RTS is extremely annoying. Levels that are otherwise easy, become extremely difficult with these handicaps. Level 8 is near impossible using a mouse. On top of this the story is poorly developed and uninteresting, as the story creeps along, there is no way to fast forward through the slow moving, voiceless dialogue. As story is important in campaign mode, the lack of story made the game boring afer several levels. When you beat a level everything just stops, not even a hint of dialogue, you just mindlessly go from one level to the next. I would suggest sticking with the original starcraft and not blowing $10 on this piece of crap.

super fun and well worth the 10$ but maybe on the next update you could add new levels to the campaign or add a new map for multiplayer?
