This game was hardly worth the 10$ spent. It had a very short story line and campaign mode but not worth the purchase. Its very simple to beat and is a waste of the money. It has good graphics thats about it. I wouldnt recamend it at all.

If your looking for a good RTS game for your mac. This is the game for you. The only negative thing i can see, is the selection and deselection of objects. Could be better, maybe more keyboard shortcuts, auto deselect option. But other then that great game. Game play is to par. So anything less then a 4 or 3 star rating. Then those users dont like RTS games, and cant play them.

Having played all the way through all of the originial Starcraft, I was expecting a stripped-down knock-off version. I was dissapointed. It feels like a demo - the entire campaign, all three races, can be played straight through in a few hours. Also, you almost never get to really explore the building capacities of the races in but a handful of scenarios. The game does have a lot of potential, but it seems it was just never realized. Doing it over again, I might be willing to pay $5 for this game.

i have a 2008 MacBook Air with Mac OS X Lion and i have the Intel 1300 video card and the images are very nice my system has 2GB of RAM and intel core 2 duo 1.86 Ghz and so at times I lag a little but get a RAM cleaner it helps maxamize you avliable RAM and fixes any lag. if your system has more then mine you should have no issues i highly recommend theis game its just like star craft ITs AMAZING

This game is great its basically starcraft simplified. Ive also gotta give gameloft credit they make some pretty good games that are cheap, the visuals my not be mind-blowing but I think there really focusing on what really matters, how the game plays and not looks. The only grief i have which really isnt that big of a deal is I wish right-click was the attack button, and also have a aggressive move key. And one more thing but everytime i use the gameloft live browser in-game when i back out to go to the main menu the screen goes all crazy, would be better if it launched in safari or another browser.

A great game. is worth getting, but here are some suggestions to gameloft. 1: The ability to play agenst more than 1 computer in scrimich mode. 2: more buildings/units/upgrades 3: more differences between the 3 races. Amazing game.

Great game, similar to Starcraft. Lots of fun and the game play continues after you complete the campaigns via single player and mutliple player modes. Graphics are good and appropriately detailed for the game. Hope to see continued development from the developers. Enjoy!

Ive played and beated StarCraft, and this is a lot like it. Some people may think its a copy, but I think thats the point; it has a lot of similarities to StarCraft, but sinse StarCraft 1 requires a PowerPC processor on a Mac, this is a great substitute. Thanks Gameloft! :D

At first I thought that this game would have been wrth it, but is not. There are like 7 builings or so for every race. So basically, Im comparing this game to Starcraft. I Own a MacBook Air, So I Could not play starcraft, so I bought this game. There is a limit of how many Peoplee you can get. But that number is really low. You Try to play online, forget it! There is like no one online you can play with. Soo……. If you were excpecting to play online, DONT BUY THIS GAME. Buy pinball or something cheaper and worth it. So, yeah…. Sorry about the mean things Im saying about this messed up, rigged game.

THis app is huge, requiring multiple hours to download If the download is interrupted, it starts over. This is 80s style programming (remember Archie & Veronica on the early web?) Not worth the hassle. it is too that was my dad

I am a big FAN of SF:C on iPad and but this version for multiplayer First the Gameloft Server is down and you can not connect to server and second there is no option to make local connection between SF:C iPad and SF:C Mac ! What a shame ...

multiplayer wont let me sign in and thats the only reason why i wanted this game…… i want my money back

Im getting a little fed up with app-store off brands. I went in search of Age Of Empires, or Starcraft, or World Of Warcraft. What did the app store have to offer? Starfront. It feels like I just bought a china knock-off of a game. It looks like a Starcraft, as if they spent all there time trying to make people think they were buying Starcraft, but it just doesnt behave well. For examples: The tutorial is filled with pauses that just dont make sense. All this "backstory" that doesnt actaully have any story in it, all while preventing you from actually being able to move your troops. You cant by pass it, its not remotely engaging, and the result is i got so frustrated I quit the game, and nearly deleted it. Actual game play is the same. Forces you to stop periodically to read increadibly uninteresting dialog. (if you HAVE to put dialog in, hire some voice actors, people! They are cheap, and enhance your game a ton without annoying players.) In summery, Ive played dozens of RTS, and I lasted about 15 minutes with this one. I just found it far more annoying then fun. Probably will uninstal.

I may have had my expectations too high, but the game is ok. The graphics and controls are great. The skirmishes are too simple on single player…basically, just build a force and go destroy. They can all be over in under 5 min (even the pro level) with very little though, resource management or strategy. Plus, there has been no update to the game since the release, so you cant really expect Gameloft to put one out. Could be an incredible game with more campain levels, more options (like 3 or more players in skirmishes, more distinction between the races, etc.), but it seems GL is satisfied with an OK game, regardless of the potential. The sad part is that it wouldnt take much work to make the game AMAZING! The game is worth the .99 cent sale price, though, so get it while you can. Definitely not worth $10!

Can this be deleted from my App Store purchases? I dont want to remember that I Downloaded it. Cant even play through. The 8th level is just a mass newb rush by the ai.

Gameloft has abandoned all Mac store games that they have released. So I woudnt buy any game from them and expect support. This is also one of the reasons you will not find anyone online. Either their servers are down or there is no support. So in the future before you buy a game from them think, will this still be supported a year from now? Good chance is no. Overall game is a good clone!

Is a fun starcraft/warcraft II type game would be better if there was ever people online to play against. The AI is pretty easy to beat, but it is still pretty fun for the cost

This is rediculus that the best game in the App store is a direct rip of Starcract which I already own. Why would I want a clone of a game I already own; but why would Apple and Blizzard allow this to be sold. I want my money back…
